Amongst our 100th celebrations, the birthday dinner stands out as a very special occasion. Lady Denman was the guest of honour and each member was given an inscribed commemorative vase. (For photos of the coccasion, go to the gallery tab.)
Diana Temperley wrote a very amusing story about a WI meeting which achieved first place; she won the Canada Cup.
For the Jubilee celebrations, we laid on a special afternoon tea for the residents and lunch boxes for those that are housebound.
We continue to support the Federation activities and Donna and Monica went on the annual trip to York.
